Description

Course Description: This course covers topics in Algebra ranging from polynomial, rational, and exponential functions to conic sections. Trigonometry concepts such as the Law of Sines and Cosines will be introduced. Students will then begin analytic geometry and calculus concepts such as limits, derivatives, and integrals.

Prerequisite: Students taking this course should have completed Algebra II + Trigonometry. Students are required to do the homework and to study assigned sections before class. Students are also required to study Chapter P before the beginning of class.

Textbook: Franklin Demana, Precalculus: Graphical, Numerical, Algebraic. (ISBN: 0-13-227650-x) , Teacher will provide an e-textbook for the students when the class start.
